Custom Single Screw Extrusion Lines

Custom Single Screw Extrusion Lines for Pipe, Hose, Profile and TPE Band Production

Jinxin single screw extrusion line with cooling tank producing PC tube at exhibition

At Jinxin, every line is test-run producing your target product before shipment. For materials involving additives or modification — such as TPE — we require the customer’s actual resin, because screw plasticization and die tolerances must be matched to the specific compound.

You receive a documented startup parameter sheet covering zone temperatures, line speed, and vacuum settings — so an experienced operator can begin production on arrival without re-tooling the die or re-tuning the process from scratch.

Choose Your Single Screw Extrusion Line

Use the categories below to find the extrusion line closest to your product. If your product is not listed, send us your drawing, material and size range for a configuration review.

PVC Braided Reinforced Hose Line

PPR Pipe Extrusion Machine

Materials: PPR, PE, PP
Typical products: hot and cold water pipes, PPR-GF-PPR fiberglass reinforced pipes

For small-to-medium diameter pipe production where stable sizing, meter-weight control and forming consistency matter.

PVC profile extrusion line

Materials: PP, PE, ABS, TPU, PVC pellet compound
Typical products: custom plastic profiles, soft-rigid co-extrusion profiles, industrial strips

For custom profiles based on your drawing, material and tolerance requirements.

lighting profile extrusion line

Materials: PC, PMMA
Typical products: LED covers, lampshades, optical profiles

For lighting and optical profiles that need stable dimensions, smooth surfaces and controlled transparency.

TPE extrusion lines in factory

TPE Tourniquet and Elastic Band Extrusion Line

Materials: TPE, SEBS-based compounds
Typical products: tourniquet bands, Esmarch bandages, fitness resistance strips

For latex-free elastic strip production where tensile feel, surface quality and stable width control matter.

How We Configure Your Single Screw Extrusion Line

A single screw extrusion line should match the product you actually plan to make. A dip tube line, a reinforced hose line and a PC profile line do not need the same screw, die, cooling length or downstream system.

Before quoting, we check these inputs:

Material

Pellet type, melt index, additives, fillers or modified compounds that affect screw design and temperature control

Product sizes

Diameter, width, wall thickness, layer structure or profile drawing

Quality requirement

Tolerance, surface finish, bonding strength, flexibility, transparency or tensile performance

Factory conditions

Voltage, frequency, layout space and operator experience

Practical capacity range

A stable production range based on plasticization, forming, cooling and downstream stability

Tooling needs

Die design, calibration method and in-house mold adjustment before shipment

What You Get with Every Jinxin Single Screw Extrusion Line

Each line is delivered as a production-ready system, not just a group of machines packed together.

Product-Based Test Run

We test-run the agreed product type before shipment to check die matching, forming stability and product size under real extrusion conditions.

Startup Reference Data

You receive practical baseline settings such as temperature zones, screw speed, haul-off speed, vacuum and cutting or winding settings.

In-House Tooling Adjustment

If the die core, sleeve or calibration part needs correction during testing, we can modify it in our own workshop before shipment.

Serviceable Components

We use electrical, drive and control components that are practical to troubleshoot, replace and support for overseas factories.

Custom Single Screw Extrusion Lines – FAQ

What is a custom single screw extrusion line?

A custom single screw extrusion line is a complete production system configured around one target product, not just a standalone extruder. It usually includes feeding, single screw extruder, die, calibration or cooling, haul-off, cutting or winding and control system.

The word custom means the screw, die, cooling length, downstream speed and control logic are matched to your material, product size, quality requirement and factory conditions.

Do you sell standard catalog extrusion lines?

No. The product type may be standard, such as PPR pipe, dip tube, PVC braided hose or TPE band, but the actual line configuration is not a fixed catalog model.

Even two buyers making the same product category may have different dimensions, materials, output expectations, factory voltage and tolerance requirements. That is why we quote by configuration.

What materials can your single screw extrusion lines process?

Our single screw extrusion lines are designed for pellet or granule thermoplastics, including PVC compound, PP, PE, PC, PMMA, ABS, TPU and TPE.

We do not use single screw lines for rigid PVC dry blend or powder processing. That usually requires a conical twin screw extrusion process.

How much does a custom single screw extrusion line cost?

The cost depends on product size, material, line structure, control system, downstream equipment and tooling requirements. A simple single-product line and a multi-layer reinforced hose line are not priced the same way.

Jinxin provides configuration-based quotations, so you can see what is included in the line scope instead of receiving a low starting price that changes later.

What should I send before requesting a quotation?

Please send your product type, material, size range, wall thickness or drawing, target quality requirement, expected capacity range and factory voltage.

For modified materials such as special TPE compounds, we may ask for sample pellets before production testing so the die and process can be checked with your actual material.

Can one line produce different sizes by changing the die tooling?

Yes, within the designed range of the line. Many pipe and hose lines can produce different sizes with different die tooling and process settings.

However, a new die core and sleeve should be recalculated, not simply copied by proportional scaling from an old size. Product size, wall thickness, material flow, drawdown, cooling and haul-off speed all affect whether the new size can run stably.

Do you test the maximum output before shipment?

We focus first on stable product size and forming quality. Maximum output is usually estimated from screw size, motor power, material behavior, cooling length and downstream stability.

Running a full maximum-output test can waste large amounts of customer material. Once the product runs stably, an experienced operator can increase speed step by step within the practical production range.

How do I choose between single screw and twin screw extrusion?

Single screw extrusion is usually suitable for pre-compounded pellets or granules, such as PP, PE, PVC compound, PC, PMMA, TPU and TPE.

Twin screw extrusion is used when the material needs intensive mixing, powder processing, compounding or reactive processing before forming. If you are not sure, send us your material information before quoting.

Required Inputs for Quotation

Send us your product drawing, sample photo or size requirements. We will review the material, product range and factory conditions before recommending the line scope.
